Amenities

Boarding: We provide a bedded pipe 16x16 covered pen for your horse; you provide the feed and care.

Parking: Rancho Sin Nieve offers full service sites in close proximety to care for your horses.

Riding: In addition to the 120x250 fenced arena the Ranch is surrounded by 1000’s of acres of State & Federal open space land, trail riding is unlimited be it with our Equine partner or ATV if you like. It is not uncommon to run across wild burros & deer while on trail rides. If you like to desert ride you will need a REC permit to use state trust land. Hunting: The surrounding public lands afford excellent hunting for quail, javelina, dove, cottontails, and the occasional mule deer. (Hunters are responsible for obtaining the appropriate licenses and permits, all available in Wickenburg or online.) Also 20 minutes to the East is the Ben Avery Shooting Range.

Stargazing: After the breathtaking desert sunsets you are far enough away from the city lights the cloudless skies and desert air lend themselves to great opportunities for stargazing and there is nothing like a full moon lighting up the Saguaros.

Day Trips: Our central location makes exploring Arizona affordable and convenient. You can enjoy Sedona's scenery, Lake Havasu's London Bridge, Scottsdale's shopping, Mariners/Padres/Royals/Rangers' spring training games, Quartzsite's RV festival, Phoenix's nightlife, and still be back the same night!

If you're looking for a remote feeling but also enjoy the city animities nearby and warm winter climate, Rancho Sin Nieve is the ultimate winter base camp for you and your horses. Surrounded by endless Sonoran Desert & Mountains in every direction, you won’t tire of the view.

Rancho Sin Nieve is ideally located midway between Wickenburg & Phoenix just South of Hwy 74 on 211th Ave. Shopping, restaurants, golf, and the other necessities of day-to-day existence can be found to the NW in Wickenburg & to the SE in Surprise. Both cities are just a short 20 minutes away. Upscale shopping & restaurants in Scottsdale are just 45 minutes away & Cave Creek is filled with western galleries and numerous weekend art shows during the winter months.

The West side of Phoenix is a Mecca for horse activity. To the South is the Buckeye Equestrian Center (formerly Empty Acres) and Dunn’s Arena both home to 1st class barrel races all winter including the American West SW Classic and Greg Olsen Futurity and open race. They also host team roping, team penning/sorting and cutting & barrel events on a weekly schedule all winter. Wickenburg’s Horse Country Arena also hosts numerous team roping and barrel racing events. Over in Scottsdale Westworld is home to the Sun Circuit AQHA show and for the car enthusiast the Barrett Jackson Classic Car Auction.
